Introduction
EchoMP respects the intellectual property rights of creators, copyright owners, trademark holders, and other rights holders.
EchoMP provides tools that allow users to create, publish, share, and interact with AI-powered personas. Users may upload text, images, documents, audio, video, and other content to create or enhance personas.
We expect all users to respect intellectual property laws and the rights of others.
This policy explains:

1. Ownership of User Content
Users retain ownership of content they create or upload to EchoMP, including:
- Persona descriptions
- Character biographies
- Knowledge files
- Uploaded documents
- Images and portraits
- Audio recordings
- Video content
- Voice samples
- Original prompts
- Other creative works
By uploading content to EchoMP, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content, or
- You have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and consents required to use the content.
You remain responsible for the legality of all content you upload.
2. License Granted to EchoMP
To operate the platform, you grant EchoMP a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
- Store content
- Process content
- Display content
- Generate persona responses
- Deliver conversations
- Improve platform functionality
- Distribute public personas as directed by you
This license exists solely for the purpose of operating and providing the EchoMP services.
You may remove content or delete personas at any time, subject to technical limitations and legal obligations.
3. AI-Generated Content
Responses generated by personas may contain content produced by artificial intelligence.
EchoMP does not guarantee:
- Originality
- Exclusivity
- Copyright eligibility
- Non-infringement
Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before publishing, distributing, selling, or otherwise using them.
EchoMP is not responsible for claims arising from a user's use of AI-generated outputs.
4. Knowledge Files & Training Materials
Users may upload documents and other materials for personas to study.
You may only upload materials if:
- You own them; or
- You have permission to use them; or
- Their use is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Prohibited uploads include:
- Pirated books
- Unauthorized copyrighted databases
- Subscription content you do not have rights to redistribute
- Confidential third-party information
- Proprietary business information without authorization
EchoMP reserves the right to remove content that appears to violate intellectual property rights.
5. Portraits, Voices & Likeness Rights
You may only upload:
- Your own likeness;
- A likeness you have permission to use; or
- Content that is legally licensed for your intended use.
You may not create personas that impersonate, clone, or replicate:
- Real individuals without authorization;
- Public figures in a misleading manner;
- Celebrities where such use violates publicity rights;
- Private individuals without consent.
Users are solely responsible for obtaining any required permissions.
EchoMP may remove personas that violate image rights, voice rights, publicity rights, or privacy rights.
6. Trademarks
Users may not use trademarks in a way that:
- Causes confusion;
- Suggests sponsorship;
- Suggests endorsement;
- Misrepresents affiliation.
Trademark owners who believe their rights are being violated may submit a complaint using the process below.
7. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on EchoMP infringes your copyright, submit a notice containing:
- Your name and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material.
- The URL or location of the material.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
- A statement that the information is accurate.
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

8. DMCA Takedown Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, EchoMP may:
- Remove content;
- Disable access to content;
- Restrict persona visibility;
- Suspend creator privileges;
- Notify the affected user.
EchoMP may act without prior notice when necessary.
9. Counter-Notification Procedure
If content was removed due to a copyright claim and you believe removal was incorrect, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Identification of removed material.
- The location where the material appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and contact information.
- Consent to jurisdiction in the appropriate court.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, EchoMP may restore the content unless the complaining party files legal action within the applicable statutory period.
10. Repeat Infringer Policy
EchoMP maintains a repeat infringer policy.
Accounts may be suspended or terminated if users repeatedly:
- Upload infringing content;
- Ignore takedown notices;
- Submit fraudulent claims;
- Circumvent enforcement actions.
EchoMP reserves sole discretion in determining repeat violations.
11. False Claims
Submitting knowingly false infringement notices or counter-notifications may expose you to legal liability.
Users must ensure all claims are truthful and submitted in good faith.
12. Public Personas
Creators remain responsible for ensuring public personas they publish to Discover do not infringe:
- Copyrights
- Trademarks
- Publicity rights
- Personality rights
- Privacy rights
- Other intellectual property rights
EchoMP may unpublish or remove public personas at any time if infringement concerns arise.
13. Intellectual Property Complaints Beyond Copyright
For complaints involving:

- Other intellectual property claims
