EchoMP Regional Privacy Disclosures

These addenda supplement our Privacy Policy with disclosures relevant to specific jurisdictions. Where these addenda and the main Privacy Policy differ for users in a given region, these regional disclosures apply.

1. EEA — GDPR

For users in the European Economic Area, EchoMP processes personal data on the legal bases of contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (to keep the platform safe, secure, and functional), consent (for optional features such as mature-content opt-in and analytics where applicable), and legal obligation.

You may have the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • request correction or deletion
  • restrict or object to certain processing
  • request data portability
  • withdraw consent at any time
  • lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

2. United Kingdom — UK GDPR

UK users have substantially the same rights described above under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

3. California — CCPA / CPRA

California residents have the right to:

  • know what categories of personal information are collected and how they are used
  • request access to or deletion of personal information
  • correct inaccurate personal information
  • opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (EchoMP does not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood)
  • not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights

Requests can be submitted to privacy@echomp.app. Authorized agents may submit requests with appropriate written authorization.

4. Canada — PIPEDA & provincial laws

EchoMP intends to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws. Canadian users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information by contacting privacy@echomp.app.

5. Other jurisdictions

Users in other jurisdictions may have additional rights under local law. Contact privacy@echomp.app for assistance.
