EchoMP Synthetic Media & Identity Policy
Version 1.0
Effective Date: June 15, 2026
Last Updated: June 15, 2026
EchoMP allows users to create AI-generated personas, voices, avatars, and conversational identities. Because these systems may resemble real people, this policy sets strict rules for consent, impersonation, and synthetic identity use.
What you can create
- Fictional personas and original characters
- Creator-generated personalities
- AI twins of yourself (reflective personas based on your own input)
- Mentors, coaches, advisors, and other conversational identities
Real-person personas
Public replication of real individuals is restricted.
- Living private individuals require explicit consent to be portrayed.
- Public figures may appear only under our parody and labeling rules — clearly labeled as AI-generated and not factual.
- Deceptive impersonation — passing AI off as the real person — is prohibited in all cases.
Consent on uploads
You may only upload voices, portraits, likenesses, videos, or identifying characteristics that you:
- own
- created
- or have explicit permission to use.
Do not upload biometric-style data, likenesses, voice samples, or portraits without any required permissions or consent.
Public persona restrictions
Public personas may not:
- deceptively impersonate real individuals
- falsely present AI content as real human communication
- imitate private individuals without consent
- engage in scams or manipulation
Biometric & likeness processing
EchoMP may process likeness-related content, including portraits, uploaded media, voice samples, and avatar-related content, to generate synthetic persona experiences, AI-generated voice outputs, avatars, or conversational identity systems. By uploading such content, users confirm they have the necessary rights, permissions, and consent required for such processing.
AI disclosure
Public personas on EchoMP must remain identifiable as AI-generated. Users may not misrepresent personas as real humans for deceptive purposes.
Prohibited uses
EchoMP prohibits:
- malicious deepfakes
- romance scams
- identity fraud
- deceptive impersonation
- non-consensual cloning
- exploitative synthetic media
- misleading political impersonation
Enforcement
EchoMP may remove personas, restrict access, suspend accounts, investigate reports, and cooperate with lawful requests for violations of this policy.
Reporting
To report impersonation or synthetic identity abuse:
Voice, Identity & Likeness Consent
Users remain solely responsible for ensuring all uploaded portraits, likenesses, voices, voice samples, videos, and identifying information comply with applicable law and required consent obligations.
EchoMP prohibits deceptive impersonation, synthetic identity fraud, deceptive relationship simulation for financial gain, political impersonation, and non-consensual cloning.
