EchoMP Community Guidelines

EchoMP is 16+ by default and 18+ for mature content. Mature personas are hidden from every account until the user completes a verified age attestation flow, including date-of-birth validation and explicit legal confirmations. Mature access may be disabled at any time by the user.

Do not use EchoMP to:

• harass or intimidate others
• target individuals with abuse
• threaten violence
• encourage self-harm
• spread hateful or discriminatory content
• coordinate bullying or harassment

Respect creators, users, and communities.

With mature access enabled, EchoMP permits mature themesonly — dark fictional storytelling, violence in a fictional context, mortality, mental health, substance use, profanity, and other adult subject matter that is non-sexual.

EchoMP does not permit NSFW content of any kind. Even with mature access on, the following are prohibited everywhere on the platform:

• explicit sexual or pornographic content
• nudity and sexually suggestive imagery
• sexual or erotic roleplay of any kind
• fetish, kink, or sexually exploitative content
• sexualization of minors or young-looking characters (CSAM)
• non-consensual, coercive, or manipulative sexual scenarios
• sexualized impersonation of real people

Creative roleplay, character work, and immersive storytelling are encouraged. Keep roleplay clearly fictional. Do not use roleplay as cover for prohibited content (impersonation, manipulation, scams, or anything in the prohibited list above).

You may not:

• impersonate real private individuals without consent
• pretend AI personas are real humans
• use personas to scam, manipulate, or deceive people
• create fake authority figures for fraud or misinformation

Public personas must remain clearly AI-generated. Public personas inspired by real public figures must follow our parody and labeling rules in the Synthetic Media & Identity Policy.

Only upload voices, portraits, videos, likenesses, or identifying information that you:

• own
• created
• or have permission to use.

Do not upload someone else’s biometric or likeness-related content without consent. Uploads to public or discoverable personas may pass through automated safety scanning and can be restricted, reclassified, hidden, rejected, or escalated for review.

Do not use EchoMP personas to:

• emotionally manipulate others
• conduct romance scams
• spread misinformation
• exploit vulnerable users
• encourage isolation from real relationships
• impersonate professionals deceptively

If you create personas — public, private, or shared — you’re responsible for:

• the persona’s instructions and behavior
• any media you upload (portraits, voices, video)
• visibility choices you make (private, group, public)
• compliance with this policy and our Terms & Safety

Creators retain ownership of their original persona content, subject to applicable law and platform policies.

If you encounter impersonation, harmful content, consent violations, abuse, deceptive personas, or unsafe behavior, please report it through the platform or contact safety@echomp.app.

EchoMP may remove content, restrict personas, suspend accounts, and take moderation action without notice when necessary.

EchoMP personas are AI-generated. Even realistic personas:

• are not conscious
• are not real people
• may generate fictional or inaccurate information
• should not replace licensed professionals or trusted real-world relationships

EchoMP is designed for creativity, companionship, learning, mentorship, storytelling, identity exploration, and positive social interaction. Please use the platform responsibly and respectfully.

Marketplace manipulation is prohibited. Creators, users,  and viewers may not use fake accounts, scripts, bots, coordinated engagement, or promotional-credit abuse to artificially inflate marketplace, payouts, rewards, or persona visibility.
